Who may take part?

Participation is open to exhibitors at EuroTier/EnergyDecentral 2024 as well as suppliers and concept providers who are not exhibiting at EuroTier/EnergyDecentral 2024. Participation is voluntary and not associated with any additional direct costs.

The Jury

The jury is an independent commission of recognized experts from research and teaching as well as representatives from industry and practice.

The jury is subject to a code of ethics (compliance regulation) and meets the requirements of:

How does it all work?

The selection of the award winner(s) takes place in two stages.

Stage 1 - Determination of nominees: On the basis of the submitted documents, the jury determines the list of nominees (shortlist) by referring to the predefined criteria. This is being done on the basis of a point evaluation. The nominees will be given the opportunity to present their process/product/concept live to the trade fair audience at the Inhouse Farming - Feed & Food Show during EuroTier/EnergyDecentral 2024. 

Stage 2 - Determination of the winner: The nominees take part in the final round of the competition in the form of short presentations ("Impulse Pitches"). Each participant has the chance to fully convince the expert committee of their product/concept in a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute discussion round. For the content of the DLG Impulse Pitches, the participants receive a predefined set of questions from the DLG in advance. After the pitches, the winning products / concepts will be awarded by the commission on site at the Inhouse Farming - Feed & Food Show 2024.
